- Pump price
The retail price per litre charged at the forecourt, already including fuel duty and VAT — the figure drivers actually pay.
- Fuel duty
A fixed excise tax charged per litre on petrol and diesel in the UK, set by the Treasury and unchanged regardless of the wholesale oil price.
- ULSP / ULSD
Ultra Low Sulphur Petrol and Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel — the standard low-sulphur fuel grades reported in UK government statistics.
- Fuel Finder
The UK statutory service, created under the Motor Fuel Price (Open Data) Regulations 2025, that is meant to publish near-live, per-station fuel prices — access requires registration and blocked an unauthenticated check while building this page.
